An overlooked aspect of a beauty and skincare routine is sleep. We all have had times in our lives where sleep took the backseat. If you want healthier skin before even starting on a beauty routine, you need to start making sleep a priority. This is because while we sleep, our bodies are in repair mode- recovering from any daytime damage. (So beauty sleep is actually a real thing, not just a saying ;) ).
Getting more sleep (around 7-8 hours suggested) will lead to:
- Brighter, less puffy eyes
- Glowing skin
- Fewer wrinkles or signs of aging
- Healthier, stronger hair
- Your beauty products working more effectively
Setting the right foundation for your beauty routine will make a world of difference not only in your overall health but in your self-confidence and “glow-up” as well.
